Update: 2degrees has just raised the limit "permanently" of what its $10 a month Text Pack gives you.
"You can now get 2000 texts to anyone in NZ for just $10 a month. That's right, get 2000 texts per pack, now and every time your pack renews," the company says.

In a brief release sent out today Chief Marketing Officer Larrie Moore said that the $10 Text Pack, which was recently upsized from 500 to 1000 texts as part of a recent promotion, was so well received that it’s now a permanent feature.
“Our $10 Text Pack will be upsized to 1000 any network text messages from 8 October,” he said.
2degrees customers can add the $10 Text Pack to their pre pay or Pay Monthly account by texting ‘buy10txt’ to 233.
