Activision releases X-Men: Destiny trailer

11 Oct 10

Last week Activision announced the development of X-Men: Destiny with a particularly bare-bones press release that told us very little about the game. There are still relatively few details out in the open, but the publisher has now released a teaser trailer that will allow us to glean at least a few details.

What we do know, however, is that the player will undertake the role of a new mutant to join the X-Men team, and the game will rely heavily on choices that will dictate the final destiny of their character. Veteran graphic-novel writer Mike Carey will pen the story for X-Men: Destiny.

Thanks to the following trailer, it's known that Wolverine, Jean Grey, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Iceman and Magneto will feature to some extent.
