Alienware unveils innovative QD-OLED gaming monitors at CES 2024
Tue, 9th Jan 2024

Alienware will present its latest innovation with two world-first Quantam Dot OLED (QD-OLED) gaming monitors at CES 2024. Building on their award-winning QD-OLED family, which saw its inaugural launch in 2022, Alienware adds the Alienware 32 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor (AW3225QF) and the Alienware 27 360Hz QD-OLED Gaming Monitor (AW2725DF) to its celebrated lineup.

Leading the innovation are two first-of-its-kind models. Offering superior colour and contrast, Alienware 32's 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor is equipped with Dolby Vision HDR, rendering every detail in remarkable colour and contrast. On the other end, the Alienware 27 360Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor combines beauty and agility with a stunning 360Hz refresh rate and the infinite contrast of QD-OLED in QHD resolution (2560x1440).

The AW3225QF model, an impressive 2024 CES Innovation Award Honoree, has been designed to provide the ultimate visual experience with an enhanced 4K curved QD-OLED panel. This design aims to reduce reflection and capture extended peripheral vision with infinite contrasts and true blacks. With Dolby Vision HDR technology, users enjoy a more enhanced and realistic picture offering brighter highlights, darker blacks, and unique colours on screen.

Focused towards the needs of a PC gamer or content creator who demands definitive 4K visuals, the AW3225QF refresh rate reaches an impressive 240Hz, with a 0.03ms gray-to-gray reaction time, topped with Dolby Vision HDR and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400.

Alienware also included NVIDIA G-SYNC, and VESA AdaptiveSync features to aid a tear-free and stutter-free gaming experience. The model also offers a high-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 FRL, not limited to PC gamers, which can deliver a 120Hz performance at 4K resolution on compatible games.

Sporting high-speed capabilities, the AW2725DF model was designed with competitive gamers and streamers in mind. Also having bagged the 2024 CES Innovation Award, this monitor offers an unrivalled 360Hz refresh rate and speedy 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time, eliminating blur and ghosting for crystal-clear motion and near-instantaneous pixel response. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and VESA AdaptiveSync technology for fluid, artifact-free performance at almost all framerates.

QD-OLED technology combines the best qualities of OLED with Quantum Dot's brightness to provide enhanced colour accuracy and contrast for superior visuals. Both introduced models, AW3225QF and AW2725DF, come with Dell's ComfortView Plus, a TUV-certified built-in hardware solution that reduces harmful blue light without compromising on colours. Addressing concerns regarding OLED burn-in, both models come with a 3-year limited OLED burn-in hardware warranty.

In line with the drive to prioritise sustainability, all new Alienware monitors from 2023 onwards will be delivered in specially engineered recycled cardboard boxes, which are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. The AW3225QF and AW2725DF models comprise 85% Post-consumer Recyclable (PCR) plastic and a 100% recycled aluminium stand, upholding Alienware's commitment to sustainability.
