FYI, this story is more than a year old

Activision and Treyarch have announced a host of Hollywood talent has enlisted to voice roles in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Among the famous names are Gary Oldman (The Professional, Dracula, Batman: The Dark Knight, The Book of Eli), Ed Harris(The Abyss, A History of Violence,Pollock, Apollo 13, The Right Stuff ), and David S. Goyer is on board to provide script consultation and story development support.

Interestingly, Activision has revealed that Oldman will reprise his role as Viktor Reznov from Call of Duty: World at War, the last Call of Duty game developed by Treyarch. Harris will voice one of the new characters, CIA operative Jason Hudson.

“Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of Hollywood’s finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops’ ambitious and immersive single player experience,” said Mark Lamia, Studio Head of Treyarch. “Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops is scheduled for release worldwide on November 9th.
