Apple: iPhone 4 'most successful' launch ever
Tue, 29th Jun 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Apple has sold over 1.7 million units of iPhone 4 as of Saturday, June 26th, just three days after its launch.

“This is the most successful product launch in Apple's history,” said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO.

“Even so, we apologise to those customers who were turned away because we did not have enough supply,” he added.

US customers were turned away or abandoned the pre-order process in frustration said Apple just before the phone launched.

Apple recently delayed the white model of its new phone in the US for manufacturing reasons.
