HTC today announced the Australian launch of the HTC One X10, the latest addition to the HTC One range.
The HTC One X10 is combines a high capacity 4000 mAh battery providing up to 2 days of use, a fingerprint scanner that unlocks with a single touch and a metal body designed for durability. This mid-range phone device also features a 5.5 inch screen and an 8MP front facing camera.
Thomas Dexmier, head of sales and marketing at HTC ANZ, says they wanted to deliver a high-end product at a mid-range cost for consumers.
"Following on from the HTC One X9, its highly successful predecessor, every aspect of the HTC One X10 is premium, except the price. Not only does it look sleek & stylish, it delivers on performance & convenience at a price that’s among the best value in the market today.” he says.
“The handset has been carefully crafted to achieve the perfect balance between an elegant and rich design that will satisfy the style needs of our consumers, providing top of the range performance at a mid-range price point."
The X10 carries the longest lasting battery ever in an HTC smartphone that allows for up to two days of use. They managed to squeeze in the larger battery without compromising on thickness, meaning the phone stays small in your hand.
The 5.5 inch screen is formidable in size, and an 8MP camera is nothing to sniff at.
According to HTC, “you get an ultra-wide lens that fits in more friends, scenery and good times. Who needs a selfie stick when you can create wide-angle selfies this easily?”
The HTC One X10 is available from May 17. The current going price in Australia is $549.
