WHAT IS IT? The sequel to arguably one of the best games ever based on a licensed character. Arkham Asylum is praised for its blend of stealth and action, and Arkham City is set to improve on its success.WHY SHOULD WE CARE? Whether you’re a Batman fan or not, Arkham Asylum was an absolute blast to play. Its smooth-flowing combat, detailed environments and memorable villains made for one of the most enjoyable brawlers of all time. Admirably, Arkham City aims to improve on everything the first game has already nailed. Fans of the comics are in for a treat, as many famous villains from the comics will play a significant role, and Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill will also reprise their roles as Batman and The Joker respectively. Gadgets will also play a larger role this time around, and a multiplayer component is rumoured. Arkham City is shaping up to be an excellent sequel to an already incredible game.
