Broadband Compare unveils NZ Compare umbrella brand

19 Apr 18

The team behind Broadband Compare has announced the creation of NZ Compare, a new umbrella brand that will bring together the company’s growing suite of New Zealand comparison websites.

Following the growth of Broadband Compare and today’s launch of Power Compare, the decision was made to consolidate under a single umbrella brand to allow better engagement and communication with both customers and clients.

Commenting on the launch of the new comparison brand, NZ Compare founder and CEO Gavin Male says, "Price comparison websites are a growing trend in consumer shopping.

"A recent survey in the UK found that over 85% of consumers with internet access had used a price comparison website in the last 12 months and New Zealanders are quickly adopting this trend.

“Over the last 12 months, Broadband Compare has seen more than 350,000 visitors and our research has shown that Kiwis want the tools to help them make more informed purchase decisions," Male adds.

The new NZ Compare brand will bring together a suite of comparison websites for New Zealanders, including Broadband Compare, the latest launch Power Compare and other, soon-to-launch comparison websites will feature Mobile, Travel, Study, Money and more.

Male continues, "NZ Compare has been created with the sole purpose of helping Kiwis compare and save and our goal is to become the number one trusted source of information for personal finance, utilities and saving money in New Zealand."

NZ Compare is a New Zealand based company that owns and manages a suite of comparison websites.

The first NZ Compare website, Broadband Compare, launched in June 2016 and has helped over 500,000 Kiwis comparing broadband plans since then.
