FYI, this story is more than a year old

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is now available for you to pick up both digitally or at retail stores.

Sledgehammer Games developed Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare bringing in lots of new features. Not to mention the game takes full advantage of newer consoles as the game was built on a new game engine.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is also the first in the series to somewhat take place in the future. You can expect to see futuristic equipment and weaponry.

One of the biggest selling points for this year's game is the fact that Kevin Spacey plays the main villain. He plays the character of Jonathan Irons who has his own vision for future of war.

“Three years ago we made some big decisions to invest in a three-year development cycle and to enlist Sledgehammer Games to be the first new lead studio for Call of Duty in a decade,” said Eric Hirshberg, CEO of Activision Publishing, Inc. “We believe that those decisions have paid off, resulting in a fantastic game, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which features a kickass story, an epic performance by Kevin Spacey, beautiful graphics and new core mechanics that make Advanced Warfare even more of an adrenaline rush than Call of Duty already was. And that’s saying something.”

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is available now for the PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
