From Software has unveiled the first trailer for Dark Souls, recently named as the sequel to PlayStation 3-exclusive action RPG Demon's Souls.

The game is not a direct sequel, as such, to the popular Demon's Souls. However, it shares gameplay elements and is considered to be a spiritual successor. Dark Souls will also hit Xbox 360 this time around, and it's also reportedly even harder than the previous installment. You can look forward to punishing yourself with its extreme difficulty this holiday season.
