Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley has announced via Twitter that the recently released MMO DC Universe Online is his company's fastest-selling game to date.

This is nothing to sniff at, for this is the same company that has brought us the exceedingly popular EverQuest series. According to Game Informer, DC Universe Online is selling roughly evenly between the two platforms it's released on, with the PlayStation 3 version gaining a slight lead (52%) over its PC counterpart (48%).
