EA NZ announces Battlefield: Bad Company 2 tournament

EA NZ and ON3Network have announced an online tournament for PC Battlefield: Bad Company 2 players.

Teams of 12 PC players (eight players and four subs) will compete in an eight vs. eight round-robin online tournament.

The winning team's prize pool is valued at over $8000. The winning captain is awarded an HP High Performance Elite Desktop Computer (valued at $3699), which they may choose to keep or raffle among their teammates. Each member of the winning team will take away HP 320GB Pocket Drive, a limited edition Battlefield: Bad Company 2 T-shirt and a Puma cap. All members of the teams that place 2nd and 3rd will receive the limited edition shirts and the Puma caps.

Team registration opens today at www.on3network.co.nz, where a full list of rules, terms and conditions can also be found. Registrations close on April 11th at 11.55pm.
