FYI, this story is more than a year old

Electronic Arts and DICE have released a new, full trailer for Battlefield 3. It's only a brief 45 seconds, but it gives us a taste of what the new Frostbite 2.0 engine is capable of with footage of what appears to be the game's single-player campaign.

The game was officially announced in Game Informer magazine, where it featured as the cover story for the March issue. Inside the magazine, many new details about the game were revealed, such as the inclusion of a co-operative campaign, the inclusion of a prone stance and that the PC version of the game will support up to 64 players simultaneously in one game session.
