Education sector embracing cloud and mobile
Tue, 8th Dec 2015
FYI, this story is more than a year old

The education sector is increasingly embracing cloud and mobile, according to enterprise software provider TechnologyOne, who has signed on several new major customers in 2015.

The global company has signed up customers across Australia to its Software as a Service solution, and has also seen gains in the United Kingdom in partnerships with several universities.

“Education is one of the key markets in which we operate. Our work with more than 75 education customers around the globe has given us a deep understanding of the industry,” says Adrian Di Marco, TechnologyOne executive chairman.

“TechnologyOne has 25 years of experience of delivering proven software solutions for universities and TAFEs,” he says.

"We are continually evolving our solutions with the latest technologies and enhancing functionality to support the constantly changing business environment of tertiary and vocational education,” Di Marco explains.

“All our major new education customers this year were SaaS deals, signifying that customers are embracing our vision for cloud and mobile,” he says.

“Our enterprise software as a service is the premier enterprise cloud offering in Australia and New Zealand, and we are the only provider offering a fully configurable solution.

Di Marco says the company values building true long-term partnerships with its customers, to understand their needs.

“Our deep engagement with the education sector means we can deliver integrated, preconfigured solutions that provide proven practice business processes, streamline implementations and reduce associated time, cost and risk,” Di Marco explains.

“Our focus is to ensure we are delivering real value to our customers by implementing our industry solutions faster, with lower cost and lower risk,” he says.
