Five things you didn't know about Exeed
Thu, 5th Aug 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

After catching up with Justin Tye, Director of Exeed, recently, we put together a list of five things we didn't fully understand about the Exeed business. Exeed runs a website called alwayshp.co.nz

The folks at Exeed realised that although independent resellers sell a lot of printers, they often lose the higher margin ongoing consumable business to mass retailers or stationery suppliers. The alwayshp.co.nz program allows end users to continue to easily purchase these consumables through their existing reseller, without the need for the reseller stocking every possible SKU.

Exeed distributes more than just HP

They also distribute PC Locks (laptop trolleys and wall cages for school use), Lock It Down (more traditional laptop security cables), Luxell (Specialised WiFi access points), NetGear (networking and wireless equipment), Microsoft (OEM software only) and WatchGuard (security appliances).

Exeed distributes all HP products

Every part of HP’s product range are now available through Exeed. Supplies (now includes paper), DesignJet printers, HP software, HP networking (ProCurve, 3Com and H3C) and a range of calculators.

Exeed recently began distributing Jendi solutions

Jendi is an Australian based PBX solution provider. The solution is a software based phone system, that Exeed will combine with HP Proliant servers and HP ProCurve networking infrastructure. Full story here.

Exeed also supplies HP products into the Pacific Islands

We bet there’s a healthy discussion about who gets to visit resellers in the Cook Islands.
