Wed, 5th Aug 2015
FYI, this story is more than a year old

2016 is looking like a very stacked year as Microsoft announced at Gamescom earlier today a ton of new things.  One of the newest announcements is that Halo War 2 will be coming out in 2016. This is a sequel to the popular RTS game that was originally released on the Xbox 360. The new game wil be available on Xbox One and Windows 10.  Xbox One and Windows 10 owners can also look forward to Killer Instinct Season 3. The game added eight new characters to the roster including Rash from Battletoads.  It doesn't stop there, other Xbox One games coming out in 2016 includes Crackdown 3, Quantum Break and Scalebound. There's also the previously announced Gears of War 4 coming out next year too.  2016 is looking great, but there are still some great things coming for Xbox One fans at the end of 2015 too. Xbox One Backwards Compatibility will be available to all members in November 2015.  It was also revealed all future Games with Gold Xbox 360 games will be backwards compatible on Xbox One as well. Not to mention the likes of Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Motorsport 6 are due out in the next couple of months too.
