FYI, this story is more than a year old
Green MP Gareth Hughes had Commerce Minister Simon Power up on the passage of the copyright infringement law, and its included allowed penalties of internet termination, in light of a recent UN report which said such penalties were a violation of civil rights.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Power said he didn't plan to revisit the legislation in light of the Special Rapporteur's findings.
