Jellies is the latest mix and match game that's sure to get a lot of people addicted. Beware. It has an annoyingly long intro that I couldn’t figure out how to skip.
According to the app’s description, your mission is to join Bob the Fisherman as he traverses the high seas, navigates through arctic glaciers and plunges beyond the ocean depths as he embarks on a heroic quest to find his fingers from the wicked jellies that have bitten them off! The goal is simple: catch as many Jellies as possible in 60 seconds to get your fingers back! Stockpile Jellies to earn power-ups to boost your score and time.
Connect jellies of the same colours and avoid the other coloured jellies. You’ve got sixty seconds to connect as many jellies together as you can, and if you reach 100 points, you can get an extra three seconds. If there are no more jellies to connect to, just release your finger from the screen, collect those points, and try and connect a new colour.
In the second round, you’re asked to make a loop, and you’ll earn points for the jellies that are caught inside the loop.
You get points for each round, and with each round comes new challenges, like bombs and powerups and flashing “disco” jellies that you have to try and catch in the loop.
This game hooks you in the same way as Candycrush and those bubble games. Clean, simple and cute graphics, quick rounds, easy and addictive.
