iOS security flaw: Are you Sirious?
A new security breach has been discovered in iOS 7.1, allowing hackers to access contact lists without having to unlock the actual iPhone device.
That’s the claim coming from part-time Egyptian security researcher Sherif Hashim, who says the flaw can be exploited through Siri Voice Assistant.
With no word on the validity of the claims from Apple, Hashim claims by asking Siri to search your contacts and then typing in ‘Call a’, the phone will unlock and return a list of contacts.
