While the department hasn't said that there's anything wrong in the way that Apple does it business online, the antitrust division is questioning music industry officials and internet companies, reports Business Week.

iTunes launched in 2003 and Apple currently offers more than 11 million songs for download through the service.

One industry analyst has said that with that kind of dominance is going to come an awful lot of scrutiny, especially if the music industry is looking to regain more control over its products and services.
