Social networkers can now use Facebook Gifts to instantly gift friends iTunes digital gifts including recommending albums, movies, games and apps.

Effective today, the offering also allows users to search for a specific song or album to recommend, or let your friend decide.

Facebook says iTunes digital gifts are available for $10, $15, $25, or $50, with both parties set to profit from the deal.

While it is unknown how the revenue between both companies will be split, Redmond Pie suggests Apple's 30% taxation will likely repeat itself as part of the agreement.

The news follows the announcement that Apple and Columbia Records have teamed up to offer AC/DC’s entire catalog digitally for the first time, exclusively on the iTunes Store.
