Kiwi World Cup Google doodle is live

Tue, 15th Jun 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

In celebration of the World Cup competition Google recently invited young New Zealanders to design a football-inspired Google logo for the company's first-ever global Doodle 4 Google competition.

Young people aged between 4 and 17 were asked to design their own logo inspired by the topic “I love football".

Holly Pierce (15) was voted the winner (pictured) and her doodle will be displayed on the Google New Zealand homepage for 24 hours in support of the All Whites first match against tonight. You can see it there now.

If you like to vote and haven't yet had your say in the 2010 NetGuide Web Awards, make sure you do here.
