Microsoft announces Xbox One S 'Sea of Thieves' bundle is sailing to New Zealand

01 Mar 2018

Microsoft has announced that a new Xbox One S bundle is releasing in New Zealand that will contain a free digital copy of Rare's 'Sea of Thieves' video game.

The Xbox One S bundle is releasing on the same day as the game itself on March 20th, 2018. It will go for a regular retail price of $449.00 NZD.

The bundle includes a 1TB hard drive console, one wireless Xbox One controller, a full digital copy of Sea of Thieves itself plus a 30 day subscription to both Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass.

Xbox Live Gold of course allows you to get access to online gaming and is essential to have for the new multiplayer pirate game. As for Xbox Game Pass, this is a Netflix style subscription service that allows you to download and play lots of games per month.

The Xbox One S is the slimmer version of the original Xbox console. It can play all Xbox One video games and even has the ability to play 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray movie discs too.
