FYI, this story is more than a year old

GoPro has launched a new entry level camera featuring Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the HERO+ WiFi.

The new GoPro retails for US$199.99 and captures 1080p60 video and 8MP photos, and the addition of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® enables user to easily access the GoPro App and Smart Remote.

The GoPro App lets users control the camera remotely, preview shots, play back content and create short highlight clips on a phone or tablet for easy sharing to social media sites and email. It is waterproof to 40 metres.

The Wi-Fi addition  is quite a significant feature, considering the camera itself lacks a color display for watching what users record.

The new release is small and lightweight, weight just 4.3 ounces.

The HERO+ features the same immersive 1080p60 and 720p60 video that made GoPro famous, as well as user-friendly modes like QuikCapture, SuperView and Auto Low Light.

According to The Verge, GoPro is also making another pricing tweak, dropping its miniature Hero 4 Session action camera from $399.99 to $299.99.
