Telecom is lighting up the outside of the Auckland Ferry Building this weekend. The company is being tight-lipped about the reason for the light show but a source has told Telecommunications Review it is to launch a new logo. Telecom spokesperson Nick Brown has issued the following email statement: "We’ve made significant changes as an organisation over the past 18 months, including developing the look of some recent campaigns. And we are planning to make more changes, but for more detail you will have to wait a little longer. Certainly the Nightlights with Telecom event is worth attending in Auckland this Friday night." The free interactive light show will begin at 8.30pm on Friday 16 October until Sunday 18 October. An official Facebook page - nightlights.co.nz – lists further details, with over 5,000 responses at the time of this story being posted.
