Japanese tech blogger Macotakara reports on information from an anonymous source indicating the next iPhone may be SIM-less.

From the Japanese translation, the blog reported:

"Improved important points of this 'iPhone 4S' are eight megapixel Camera, SIM-less in order to integrate AT-T with Verizon Wireless, and 3-4 additional antennas inside."

As MacRumors reported, the idea of a SIM-less iPhone is not a new rumour. However it had been dismissed in the past under the impression that it would upset mobile carriers too much.

Either way, looks like some fun improvements are on the way.
