Nintendo is set to bring video games to the smartphone market  Nintendo announced earlier this week that it has partnered up with Japanese mobile company DeNA to bring new video games to smartphones and tablets.  The press release from DeNA strongly emphasises that only new and original games will be released for smartphones and tablets. However, the games will be able to use Nintendo IP.  This means gamers won't see classic Nintendo video games on mobile devices, but they can see Mario, Link and others in new video games.  Nintendo also said it's not leaving the console gaming market. The company is just expanding its business with this new deal.
