Nokia, Vimeo launch short film compo

Nokia and Vimeo have joined forces to launch an international short film competition for the best short film shot on the Nokia N8.
A judging panel comprised of an Oscar winner, a film director, Nokia and Vimeo’s execs will choose the best eight submissions to go through to the semi-finals.
The semi-finalists will each receive a production budget of NZ$6641 and two Nokia N8 smartphones to make their movie.
The winning film will receive $10,000 USD (NZ$13283) and a screening at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in June 2011.
