There's quite a few PlayStation VR launch games out there but none of them seem to have been more entertaining than Job Simulator though.
You may be thinking a game called "Job Simulator" sounds boring, but it's not. The reason this game is so entertaining is because it's set in a cartoon-like world populated by robots. You as the human do the manual labour.
There are four scenarios in the game where you take different jobs. One is a chef in a kitchen, an office worker, a mechanic and lastly a worker in a convenience store.
The main reason I love this game so much is because it's full of a lot of funny humour. I haven't been this entertained since I played Octodad: Dadliest Catch back in 2014. The jobs are entertaining mainly because of the customers you have to encounter.
My favourite scenario is the convenience store worker because you will have to deal with a lot of unique personalities. This includes kids trying to buy fireworks with a fake ID, a criminal trying to rob you and even a freeloader asking for free food.
The chef is a close second because you can mess up in the kitchen and create your own recipes. This scenario also has many references to famous TV chefs and more. You also have to deal with customers that may have a particular taste and more. The chef level reminded me a lot about my previous job working at a school canteen...
The gameplay itself is engaging and entertaining. The game requires you to play with two Move Controllers (which is mandatory) and each one acts as your own hand. I had no trouble calibrating the controllers as they were responsive most of the time.
As for the PlayStation VR, you just have to move your head in order to fetch for the items you may need. You are unlikely to get any motion sickness mainly because you're just standing in one position.
Each level has around 12 or more scenarios/customers that you have to serve. You may have to make pizza, fix their tyres, clean the store or more. None of the levels feel mundane or boring and each of them lasts 20 to 30 minutes each.
The gameplay was fun enough for my entire family to play it. My Mum, Dad Sister, and two Brothers all had no trouble playing this game and they all loved it. It's rare in my household to find a video game that everyone likes.
As for the graphics, Job Simulator looks pretty cool via PlayStation VR. I didn't see many jagged edges as I did with Arkham VR thanks to its cartoon look. The bright colours of this game didn't make me sick either.
Overall, Job Simulator is my favourite PlayStation VR so far. It might be short, but the game's humour and simplistic gameplay makes it fun for the entire family.
