Prototype 2 Facebook app launched

A free Facebook application promoting the new Prototype 2 game, due for release in 2012, has just gone live.

Titled //Blacknet, the application is modelled after Prototype 2's Blacknet in-game interface, and encourages users to work together to 'hack into' the Blackwatch network and uncover exclusive content such as gameplay videos and screenshots.

Game developer, Radical Entertainment, is promising to continue update the content offered in the app in the lead-up to the release of the full game next year. Facebook users can try the new app now.
