Sam Morgan emphasises urgency in his support of Pacific Fibre's ambitious plan for a second broadband cable between New Zealand, Australia and the US.

His talking points covered familiar areas: most of the data Kiwis consume is produced overseas, it will reduce data costs and increase data caps by increasing competition to the Southern Cross cable owned partially by Telecom.
