Mozilla will launch the latest version of its Firefox web browser, Firefox 8, later today, as part of its rapid release schedule instituted earlier this year.
The update includes fixes for a long list of minor bugs, but the main feature is the inclusion of Twitter in the search bar, which will make it a lot easier to search for tweets directly from the browser window.
In addition, in an important security boost add-ons installed by third-party programs are now disabled by default, blocking a gap which previously opened the user up to malicious attacks.
The download should be available here by the end of the day.
