Skype Access, pay-as-you-go internet access via a Skype Credit account, has partnered with several wi-fi providers around the world to offer internet access to its consumer and business users.

Tomizone has been named as the partner provider in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Skype says that other deals around the world now give the firm's users access to 500,000 wi-fi hotspots globally.

Skype Access allows you to pay per minute using Skype Credit with rates starting at £.04 /€.05/$.06per minute.

All you need is a connection to a Skype Access compatible hotspot and the latest version of Skype for Mac or Windows.
