Tablet sales could reach 215 million units by 2015, and thelion's share of those will continue to go to Apple's iPad, according to a report by Wall Street research firm Sanford Bernstein.

The report predicts tablet sales will ‘grow like wildfire', with 20% of survey respondents saying they planned to purchase a tablet in the next twelve months. Apple is expected to dominate the market ‘for the foreseeable future.'

Predictions that the tablet would cannibalise the home computer market have proven false, with research firm NPC reporting last month that the rate of cannibalisation was only around 14%, and decreasing.
