FYI, this story is more than a year old

Exile5 has beaten out Team Sidewinder to win the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Online Tournament.

The tournament - also known as The EA Cup - was announced three months ago. Since then 24 teams trained and contested hard in the 8 vs. 8 round-robin tournament. The final results saw Exile5 in first place, Team Sidewinder in second, Imperium in third place and BlackWatch in fourth.

Each member of Exile5 has taken away an HP 320GB Pocket Media Drive valued at $249, a Limited Edition Battlefield: Bad Company 2 T-shirt and a Puma cap, with the captain taking away an HP High Performance Elite Desktop Computer. The Elite, reviewed in the latest issue of Game Console, is valued at $3699.

"This has been a fiercely contested battle. Exile5 are obviously serious gamers and we hope that the HP kit they receive will be enjoyed by them in the future," says Jess Rangi, Personal Systems Group Marketing Communications Manager for HP New Zealand.
