TECNO releases CAMON 12 smartphone range
Mobile phone brand TECNO Mobile has launched a new range of CAMON smartphones. The CAMON 12, CAMON 12 Pro and CAMON 12 Air are now available for purchase – let's take a look.
The TECNO CAMON 12 is created primarily for smartphone photography, with a 16+2+8MP AI Max Triple Rear Camera and its four outstanding shooting performances.
The 16MP main lens focuses on AI scene detection and AI HDR, covering various common shooting scenarios and offering corresponding AI optimization.
There is also a 2MP secondary camera for the AI Bokeh effect, as well as an 8MP secondary camera that features wide-angle and macro photography options.
Those four shooting modes include Ultra Clear Shot; 120° Super Wide Angle; two-centimetre (2cm) Extreme Macro Photography; and Remarkable Bokeh Effect – all of which can help turn users into pro smartphone photographers.
What would a smartphone be without a selfie mode. The CAMON 12 features dual flashlights that can offer fill light in low light scenarios (more glamorous shots!)
Beauty mode has also been upgraded. 3D stereoscopic facial beauty to make your selfie more natural and charming. The beauty mode also expands its scope to body beauty and video beauty.
CAMON 12 chose a 6.52" Dot Notch screen for a new cinematic viewing experience. The 90% edge-to-edge ratio offers a wider horizon.
There are also plenty of AR stickers and emojis to add more fun to videos or pictures.
Furthermore, the CAMON 12 Air takes the initiative to equip itself with revolutionary Dot-in Display for excellent low light photography. It features a 6.55 inch and 90% screen ratio to give users an expansive viewing experience.
On board, there is 64GB of storage and 4GB RAM. There's also a large 4000mAH battery. All of this runs on Android 9 Pie, and HiOS 5.5.
The CAMON 12 features a gradient nebula design in three different gradient colors.
TECNO says it is working on developing a smartphone that features a 108-megapixel camera sometime in the near future.
"108 MP is set to be one of the highest-spec cameras equipped on a smartphone and with ultra-high resolution as well as better light input capacity and image details, which can be used as printed poster directly.
"In-display camera technology is the most advanced solution to achieve a higher screen proportion of mobile phones. With the camera hidden under the screen, the technology is expected to be the key to the ultimate full screen.
