Wed, 24th Nov 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old
"I’m only 30 years old,” Steve Jobs once wrote in a letter to Apple’s board (and Newsweek), “and I want to have a chance to continue creating things. I know I’ve got at least one more great computer in me. And Apple is not going to give me a chance to do that.”
That’s a tiny clip from a fascinating article that's doing the online rounds which tells a great story behind Steve Jobs’ 1985 resignation from Apple.
You only have to look round your office or out of the window to see people plugged into white headphones to know where the story went from there.
But what happened before iPods and iPads took over the world?
