TSB brings mobile banking app to PC
Wed, 23rd May 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

TSB has expanded its mobile banking app, [my]bank, to PC users, offering the customisable service alongside its standard internet banking platform.

The app, launched for iPhone last month and said to be coming soon for other platforms, offers all the standard e-banking features like making payments and opening and closing accounts, but in a personalised format that lets users choose how the interface looks, and even what it’s called.

The only function that hasn’t been transferred to the PC version is the ‘bump’ payment feature, which relies on the smartphone format.

The app also encourages feedback via [my]bank labs, a feature which TSB technology services manager Marie Collins says has been popular with customers.

"We encourage customers to continue to provide feedback and submit ideas so we can continue to improve the service,” Collins says.

"After over a year of planning and development it’s rewarding to receive such positive feedback from customers about the service.”
