Vote for New Zealand's ugliest website

Wed, 3rd Nov 2010
FYI, this story is more than a year old

As part of its launch day antics for the beta release of Internet Explorer 9 in September, Microsoft thought it would be funny to point the ugly stick at New Zealand's worst-looking websites. And it was right, just as long as the public didn't single yours out as one of them to be laughed at.

Voting is now live for the 20 websites that the nation believes could do with a Microsoft makeover.

"Don't surf past like you never even saw them," said Microsoft. "Nominate the sites that make your eyes sore. The sooner we identify those most badly affected, the sooner we can get them some help.

The winner of the Wuglies competition gets the last laugh though, as Microsoft has promised to give it a free redesign.

Cast your vote (or nominate a website). We'll let you know who wins.
