Following official reports Samsung's new product range would be heading to New Zealand next month, Telecom has backtracked.
Both the Galaxy Gear and the Galaxy Note 3 were expected to be on Kiwi soil by October 3, exclusively through the telco.
Yet despite the claims, the company has admitted that will now not be the case.
"Unfortunately, we’re experiencing delays on the Samsung Galaxy Gear and Note 3," a Telecom statement read.
"We are now looking to launch both devices on the Telecom Smartphone Network in mid-October but we will keep you updated with more information as soon as it is available to us.
"The Galaxy Gear will still be available exclusively to Telecom customers 30-days from the launch date."
