White iPhone in two weeks, says Bloomberg (and Apple)
Fri, 15th Apr 2011
FYI, this story is more than a year old

According to Bloomberg sources who are said to be in the know, Apple is gearing up to launch the much-delayed White iPhone 4 in two weeks.

Bloomberg seems to be pretty confident of its latest iPhone 4 rumour, saying that the new version will be available from AT-T and Verizon Wireless by the end of April in the US.

While Apple is yet to announcement anything regarding the white model, Bloomberg's sources say it was delayed after Apple found that the white paint peeled under heat.

Last June Apple said in a statement: "White models of Apple's new iPhone 4 have proven more challenging to manufacture than expected, and as a result they will not be available until the second half of July."

That was July 2010, not July 2011.

Are you interesting in the White iPhone 4 or are you happy to wait and see what becomes of the iPhone 5 rumours?

Update: According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple has confirmed the white model will ship this spring, but wouldn't say when exactly.
