Xbox 360 'Transformer' control pad dated and priced for NZ

Microsoft has announced that the upcoming special edition "Transformer" wireless control pads for Xbox 360 will hit New Zealand retailers from November 9th for $109.95.

The new control pads improve on the much-criticised D-pad of the existing Xbox 360 controllers by allowing gamers to raise the D-pad by twisting the base. This gives the player more precise control when used for 2D fighting games, for instance.

The new controller also comes bundled with a Plug and Charge battery kit.
