XBOX 360 users are catered for this holiday time with Games For Gold

With all the hype and excitement surrounding the launch of the Xbox One, Xbox 360 users could be forgiven for thinking that they have been forgotten about.

But do not fret - Just in time for the holidays, the next free Xbox 360 games coming to Xbox Live Gold members in December for a limited time are:

Gears of War (1 Dec - 15 Dec)

Shoot Many Robots (16 Dec - 31 Dec)

Announced via Xbox Wire both games will be available to Xbox Live subscribers via the Games for Gold program.

Starting Dec. 1, download “Gears of War” and be thrust into a deep and harrowing story of humankind’s epic battle for survival against the Locust Horde, a nightmarish race of creatures that surface from the bowels of the planet. Engage in a cinematic campaign as Marcus Fenix, as well as fire team co-op and multiplayer action that features hyper-realistic and intense combat.  Experience what IGN called a “masterpiece” that “more than lives up to the hype.”

Starting Dec. 16, download “Shoot Many Robots” – an onslaught of innovative cross-genre action that has multiple players working together to fight through an intense and chaotic robot uprising. Proclaimed by GameSpot as “a kill-crazed co-op shooting spree that offers a lot of action,” be sure to check out the game Destructoid called "highly fun!”
