Xbox One Quantum Break preview gameplay video

08 Mar 16

Microsoft was kind enough to invite us to play Quantum Break on Xbox One. From what we have played so far, the game is no average third-person shooter.

We managed to play about an hour of gameplay (managed to only upload 5 mins) which is the whole first act of Quantum Break. The thing that makes this game really unique is that Jack Joyce (Shawn Ashmore) has several powers that allow him to manipulate time and space.

The time powers are really fun to play and the acting is pretty good too. Even though I only played the first hour of the game, I was intrigued to find out what happens next. The shooting mechanics are also smooth and I feel the full game will make further use of Joyce's powers.

We managed to capture part of the first act from our play through of Quantum Break. The video will show you more of Joyce's cool abilities and how smooth the gameplay really is. Check back with us later this week as we interviewed Remedy's Thomas Puha to get more details about the game as well.
