Apple has today seeded the fifth beta of iOS 8.2 to Apple developers, following the fourth beta being seeded out three weeks ago. The first iOS 8.2 beta was released three months ago.

The beta, build 12D5480a, is available immediately to registered developers as an over-the-air update and it can also be downloaded from the iOS Developer Center.

The update says this beta version of iOS 8.2 contains bug fixes and improvements. and also includes Xcode 6.2 beta 5 with WatchKit.

OS 8.2 includes the WatchKit SDK, allowing developers to create apps for iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 8. It now includes WatchKit, a framework for developing Apple Watch apps. Developers can test their apps using the included iOS Simulator.

Apple CEO Tim Cook says the Apple Watch will be released in April, which will interface with the iPhone and iOS 8.2.

iOS SDK 8.2 requires a Mac computer running OS X v10.9.3 (Mavericks) or later.
