Baidu stock soars with Google departure

Chinese internet search engine Baidu has reported a quarterly annual profit jump of 165%.
Baidu, was, until recently, one of the big two search engines in China, commanding 64% of search engine traffic, compared to Google's 31%.
Baidu's revenue, coming mainly from online advertising, has soared since Google's departure from China, following the cyber-attack scandal know as 'Project Aurora'.
After tracing the attack to China Google declared that it would no longer observe Chinese censorship laws and began redirecting search traffic to its Hong Based domain, Google.com.hk
