Call of Duty: WWII official release date and first trailer revealed

Thu, 27th Apr 2017
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Activision and Sledghammer Games have finally revealed the official release date and first-look trailer for Call of Duty: WWII.  COD fans will be happy to know that Call of Duty: WWII will be released on November 3rd, 2017. It will be available to buy on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Sorry Nintendo Switch fans, it doesn't look like the game will be released on that platform.  Furthermore, those that pre-order the game will get access to the private beta. No release date was revealed for the private beta yet, but expect to take part in it later this year before November.  In terms of the game's story, it will be set in World War 2 between the years of 1944 and 1945. The trailer below gives you can idea of how great the graphics look. It is by far the best looking COD video game to date.  As expected, the game will also have multiplayer and zombie modes. The zombie mode is a new co-op experience and it will feature "Nazi Zombies". More on both modes will be revealed at E3 2017. Anyway, are you happy that the COD series is finally going back to its roots?
