FYI, this story is more than a year old

Electronic Arts has announced that Crysis 2, originally scheduled for release before the end of this year, will not not hit shelves until some time during the company's fourth financial quarter. This means gamers can expect to get their hands on the title anytime between January and March next year.

The announcement was just made during EA reports of its first-quarter 2011 financial results. No reason has been given for the delay at this point in time.
