Duke Nukem Forever... June 10. For real this time.
Fri, 27th May 2011
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Duke Nukem Forever - the looooong-awaited sequel - (update: has gone gold) will finally be available in New Zealand on June 10 - that's four days earlier than in North America by the way. Not only that, but there'll be a playable demo for First Access Club members on 3 June.

It almost seems news too good to be true, as fans have been awaiting this game for around 15 years. There'll be Duke Nukem players next month who weren't alive for the first one. Still, if you're not holding your breath for this oft-delayed game, we don't blame you. Game Console is firmly in the 'believe it when we see it' camp on this one.

Even so, the news is hard not to get excited about.

If you're not already a First Access Club member, you can become one by pre-ordering DNF from EB Games or by buying Borderlands Game of the Year Edition on Xbox 360, PS3 or Windows PC.
