In celebration of the release of Episodes from Liberty City, Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto IV multiplayer will be available to everyone this weekend – even those without Gold Xbox Live accounts.

From Friday, October 30th, right through to Sunday November 1st, all Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony multiplayer modes will be available free of charge.

Also tonight, a number of developers from Rockstar North invite Grand Theft Auto players to game with them between 5pm and 10pm Eastern Time (between Saturday, October 31st between 10am and 3pm New Zealand time). Simply add the following gamer tags and hopefully you’ll be invited to a match.
